JEEP LIFE AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS
"Not all those who wander are lost"
The wheel selection process has been BRUTAL! I have bounced around researching everything I could get my hands on for months and the things I've found out about the industry just might surprise you. For example...most of these wheels are made the exact same way, or in some cases...their even made in the same factories. Most are made with same manufacturing processes, they usually have same warranties, in fact once you leave the highest end of the market you might not find much of a difference at all.
Knowing that I decided wherever I get my wheels they have to be from a company with great customer service and stands behind their products. Honestly, the first company that came to mind was Quadratec. The wheel selection is huge, and their shipping process is simple. I've always only had a great experience with them and they back their products 100%. Why wouldn't someone shop their every chance they could, right? (Remember, I did do my homework before I made a decision though).
Another thing I couldn't bring myself to do is drop a lot of cash on wheels. I don't do any serious rock crawling, so the high end beadlocks aren't necessary and a tough, well built wheel is perfectly fine for every other situation.
That lead me to this...my style. I would say I like a classic, stylish, and simple. Something that looks like it could of come from the factory, but didn't. I needed to find a wheel that didn't just look great, but it look like it belonged on my Jeep.
The Quadratec Baja Extreme is perfect. I love the classic style and I love the smooth flow that looks more like an extension to my Jeep versus an add on. The Baja Extreme comes in four finishes. Satin Black, Gun Metal Gray, Silver and Clear Polished. They all have Quadratec's limited lifetime structural warranty with a year long finish warranty and from my experience, if you ever need Quadratec to help fix an issue, they will always be professional and try their best to resolve anything they can.
The Baja Extreme's are are designed to look great, hold up to damage and clean easy. Nice flat surfaces, deep, bigger holes allow for a simple wipe down and you can choose from the provided center cap (like I have on mine), or a really cool "old school" hub style center cap that matches the wheel finish. You can even use your factory Jeep logo'd cap from the factory wheels you're moving on from.
Here's where it gets good folks. The Quadratec Baja Extreme will only set you back $89.99 per wheel. Now, I'm not a math whiz here, but that's a set of five for just UNDER $450 BUCKS! Now THAT is music to my ears. There is no reason for the average Jeeper to spend $1000 dollars (or more) on wheels. Now, if there's something that you really like or something you need, ok...do your thing. Nothing wrong with that, but if you're a person that owns a Jeep and is looking for a great wheel for a great price by a great company, you need to head over to www.quadratec.com. They have a large selection from all the top brands. Dont forget to check out the Quadtec wheels before you pull the trigger on your purchase though. If there's a model you like you'll end up saving a lot of cash with out having to comprise quality.
