JEEP LIFE AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS
"Not all those who wander are lost"
There are times when I need to escape. Especially this time of year. Just for a bit at least. A time to collect myself, to find my balance again. Sometimes I just need put my life back into perspective. I need to put the fact that we are only a blip of time in an eternity into perspective. There's something about taking a moment to see how big this world is and how small we are hats humbling.
It's important to have these times. It's important to simplify so we don't get consumed with ourselves. So we don't spend our lives chasing empty answers to questions that don't really matter. We reflect to learn, and we learn to apply. So let's apply the lessons we know are true to our lives.
Try not hurting the people around us with the things we say and do. Try being kind and start putting selflessness in front of selfishness. Try building people up versus knocking them down. Let's spend our few short years living our lives to the fullest! Give more than we take, love more than we hurt, and let's start to search for the answers that DO matter...the ones that make us better.
There's no better escape than to jump in my Jeep and get out and find a quiet piece of nowhere to get perspective. If you drive one, you know exactly what I'm talking about. If you don't...maybe give one a try.
