JEEP LIFE AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS
"Not all those who wander are lost"
Tonight I had to put my top back on my Jeep. Nothing worse than a top install, in the dark, when its cold outside. I was so happy I had a set of Zip-Pulls, I had to repost this so you guys had a chance to grab some for yourselves before winter really sets in.
As summer ends and it's time for us to put our Jeeps back together, there's going to be a few struggles. One, the heartache of excepting that it's time. Two, getting those tops all stretched and fitted right again, and three, trying to zip the stupid zippers closed on your windows!! Last year I came across a great, inexpensive way to resolve number three!
Zipper-Pulls by TopZip. These are extension pulls that attach to the existing zipper of your Wrangler soft top. They really make taking off and putting the windows of the soft top so much easier, and if you have halfdoors with the soft uppers like I REALLY wish I had, the work like a charm there too.
Now obviously these pulls work on any zipper. I even threw some on my backpack just to try them out. They work and looked really cool. The intention however was to bring the Jeep Family a much needed product that enhances your Jeep experience.
Two things really make this product sand out to me. One, the way it attaches to the actual zipper. You don't just feed it through the end and start pulling. The zip pull is designed to feed though the entire zipper handle to give a solid feel that pulls from the base of the zipper not the end. Two, the look of the pull. It's about a two inch tab of braided paracord that feels solid but looks really cool too. The pic above, doesn't give it justice. It's a great looking product that fall perfectly in line with the Jeep look.
You can pick up a set of 4 of these for less than ten bucks, in many colors. You can even get them made with 2 colors to match anything you have going. When I got mine I went ahead and ordered up a really cool looking paracord keychain they make as well. Great product and I love supporting a local Jeep family member get their product out to the world.
