JEEP LIFE AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS
"Not all those who wander are lost"
Mopar/Jeep brought out a couple of the concepts from the Easter Jeep Safari earlier this year at SEMA. Although my favorite was MIA, it was cool to be able to get a closer look at the 2 that were there.
As fun as the concepts were, what we all wanted to really know was what the heck was under the cover!
Introducing the Jeep Red Rock...
The Jeep Wrangler Red Rock is based on the top of the line Wrangler Rubicon (Hard Rock). They built the Red Rock to commemorate the upcoming 50th year of Easter Jeep Safari. This beauty is packed inside and out! From the bright red exterior to the sexy Brown Katzkin Leather seats (Amaretto for those of you color geeks) with embroidered logos created from a contrast silver sticking, this Jeep is definitely an eye catcher. The Red Rock sports LED headlights and LED fog lights, which will light up any trail. A "tough as they come" Warn Rubicon Winch is bolted to the front of the Jeep, and grill inserts, light trim, and a CB wearing the Jeep brand finish off the stylish edition. Of course this beauty can only be sitting on 35 inch BFG K02 A/T tires and 17 inch headlock wheels, right??
The guts of this from the factory monster is as equally impressive as the intertior. 4.10:1 gears, Dana 44 live axles, Rock-Trac transfer case, and for you gear heads this means a 73.1:1 crawl ratio. Also, for those of you like myself that prefer automatic transmissions...we are out of luck be use this first run is Manuel only.
Ok, here's the thing...there will only be 50 made in 2016, so these very limited Jeep Red Rock's will be gone before you know it. I'm not sure what you have to do to get one, but I'm sure you better get moving now!
