JEEP LIFE AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS
"Not all those who wander are lost"
California seems so over crowded. Our schools are packed, our parking lots are packed, our freeways are packed, everywhere I go...people, people, people! Well almost everywhere.
One of the struggles of being a new Jeeper is just finding a some places to go. You need somewhere fun, and easy to get your feet wet. Well, If you're in Southern California you recognize the Cajon Pass right? It's basically the doorway to the open desert for us down this way.
When heading north up the pass you'll see a little exit named Cleghorn Road. Next time you're looking to get away...take it! It's a really easy trail that anyone can handle. (although there are some tougher MARKED trails for you Jeepers that want a little more of a challenge) The hillside is full of trails that everyone can have some fun on. You can make your way up the mountain, drop down into the desert plains, or just mess around exploring the area right there. Easy to get to, easy to drive, won't take all day if you don't want it to, there's really no excuses for getting outside and finding some adventure.
So, if you're looking to get the Jeep a little dirty, pack a lunch and check out the Cleghorn trail.
