JEEP LIFE AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS
"Not all those who wander are lost"
I love coming home to boxes on my porch! You guys know what I'm saying, what's the first thing that comes to mind...JEEP PARTS, right? This time...my new 2.5" suspension lift from TeraFlex. Going into this I did A LOT of research and when the dust settled...all roads led back to TeraFlex!
Their impeccable reputation is probably enough to trust that they are the "go to" when it comes to suspension, but that's not the only reason I chose them.
As you guys know, for me customer service is ALWAYS number one! I don't care how good the product is, I don't care how cheap the product may be, if a company doesn't have good customer service...I'm moving on.
TeraFlex gave me the best customer experience I have had in a long time from an offroad company. They made it so easy and enjoyable and with an experience like that, you can count me in as a I'm a customer and supporter for life.
The next thing that won me over...community. I love the branding of this company, and the folks that work there. They have managed to turn TeraFlex into a lifestyle company that folks want to be apart of, and that is GREAT!
So, here's what I went with this round, and I think is probably the way to go for the bulk of Jeep owners out there.
The TeraFlex JK 2.5”. This kit is a simple performance oriented lift kit that provides highway drivability with very capable off road performance. Drivability and performance are the most important factors that are engineered and built into a TeraFlex lift kit and here are the dirty details of this baby...
Properly developed suspension geometry, roll center, and load tuning ensure that all factory stability controls remain functional and within the parameters that Jeep originally engineered into the vehicle. This kit includes 2.5" lift coil springs, 9550 VSS shock absorbers, rear swaybar links, heavy duty rear trackbar axle bracket, bumpstop extensions and all necessary hardware. This kit will allow you to run up to a 35” tire (aftermarket wheels with 4.5” backspacing or less are required). Fits all JK Wrangler models including Rubicon & Unlimited. Note: 2012+ JKs may require exhaust spacers (#2610000) or other exhaust modification for proper driveshaft clearance if front extended shock length is greater than 24.5”.
I find this lift being the sweet spot for most Jeep owners. Something simple, affordable, easy to install, not to big, not to small and definitely capable to handle almost every adventure you throw its way.
