JEEP LIFE AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS
"Not all those who wander are lost"
Several weeks back I came across a picture in a magazine. An ad stating how this paticar slingshot is a legitimate tool of survival. This thing looked awesome, so I had to investigate. I reached out and ordered up the Survival Slingshot...with all the bells and whistles too!
First thing I noticed was how solid and light it was. An all aluminum body, with that hollow handle is to thank for that. It feels great in the hand.
Stage two - It's time to dress this thing up and shoot some arrows! First, we have to change the band. (Mine came with an additional 45 LB pull archery band). Swapping out bands was simple, just slide one off, then slide the other on. Very intuitive too, which makes it easy. Ok...Here we go!
I guess the best way to describe shooting arrows with the Survival Slingshot is HOLY CRAP!!! THIS THING IS AWESOME! I started off like a big sissy not knowing what to expect, but within three minutes...I was trying to talk my friend into letting me shoot an apple off of his head.
I love archery, and have never done it like this before. It is so much fun! I went from about 10 to 25 feet from the target in increments of about 5 feet at a time. The more I shot, the easier it was. The Survival Slingshot can easily be used to hunt and fish.
So, what do I think? I think that in a survival situation, this is a must! its durable, and quiet, and ammo can be made from almost anything. As far as for fun...EVERYONE will love this thing!
