JEEP LIFE AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS
"Not all those who wander are lost"
As I was leaving a long day of SEMA I noticed I had a smile on my face. You know why?? There was a point when I was hanging out at the REV Wheels booth with the Landon and a very cool guy I met through social media and the website. We were all just talking and laughing as if we knew each other for years.
Landon, along with his dad and brother Cole own DV8 Off-Road (along with a couple other companies). Honestly, they are probably some of the nicest people I've met in the industry and that fact that they are a family making it together makes it even better. Curtis Schild is just a good dude from Arizona that loves and lives the Jeep life, that happens to like the website. Me? I'm just some knuckle head from Lakewood California that probably loves his Jeeps bit too much to be looked at as normal. Three guys, from different areas, different sets of friends, different likes and dislikes, that honestly...barely even know each other standing round having a great time as if they have been hanging out for years. Why? Ultimately because of Jeep. No...think about it. If we all didn't have that one commonality, we wouldn't even be there. We wouldn't be talking and we most certainly would call each other friend. One of the best things about the "Jeep life" is that sense of community that comes along with owning a Jeep. It's great! Wealthy or poor, all colors and beliefs, different countries, different personalities, all come together with an instand bond because we all own the same type of vehicle, it's pretty awesome!
Here's the question though...if we as Jeep owners can set all our differences aside for a common love, what the heck is wrong with our SOOOOO divided country?? I guess the good folks of this great country could all use a little more Jeep life.
