JEEP LIFE AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS
"Not all those who wander are lost"
Yesterday a few friends and I decided to hit the trails of the SB Mountains. It was a warm, but a beautiful day out so what could possibly bet better, right?
It was the first time on a trail for Dave in his Jeep, so we decided to grab a light trail, but probably the most scenic one up that way, 2no206. The trail starts pretty far down the mountain in the 7 oaks area, then climbs all the way up,into Big Bear. A series of switch backs and easy driving will allow you beautiful scenery throughout the entire trip. From start to finish you'll experience thick Forrest trees, miles and miles of ridge line mountain tops and plenty of great spots to stop, get out, and enjoy some screwing around time with your friends. Don't forget, the trail drops you off in Big Bear, so bring a clean shirt and have some fun before heading home.
So, pack a lunch, grab some friends, and check out some of the many trails of the San Bernardino mountains. Don't forget to wrap up the day with a good dinner at one of the local, mom and pop places to eat in town before heading home.
