JEEP LIFE AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS
"Not all those who wander are lost"
I was exiting a gas station in St George Utah last week and guess what's next to me waiting for the light to change...yup, a pretty nice looking Jeep. We wave, admire the cool stuff on each other's Jeep, and jump on the freeway heading the same direction.
Of course that means a Jeep mini convoy right? Well, not to far into it, the Jeep in front of me pulled into a turn out. I followed to make sure nothing was wrong and that's when it happened.
We sat their talking, taking pictures, sharing life for at least 30 minutes. More than a couple times I caught myself thinking...wow, what other community of people do this kind of thing? None that I know of, that's for sure. A few people, from different States, meeting outside of a gas station, just became friends in an instant. I actually think I'll see my new friends again someday too!
Moral of the story...It doesn't really matter if owning a Jeep makes you friendlier or if friendlier people tend to buy Jeeps. What matters is this one really cool lifestyle managed to break the walls of race, color, economics, and distance to create a bond of humanity, and that's a pretty cool thing!
