JEEP LIFE AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS
"Not all those who wander are lost"
I guess when it comes to a gas can, anything on the market will do the job. Pricing is all over the place, but so is quality. The cool factor definitely goes to the old school Jerrycan straight off of your grandpa's WW2 Jeep Willy, but when it comes to the best on the market...I look to Scepter.
Today, industrial equipment, military forces, and hardcore expeditioners all over the world rely on their Scepter cans to come through for them day in and day out.
Scepter plastic Military Fuel Canister's (MFC) are made to military specifications and subjected to UN transport code classification tests. These canisters have proven themselves for their ruggedness and durability offering options for fitting with various accessories.
The plastic construction prevents fatal explosion risk when the canisters are hit with shrapnel or projectiles; in fires they may eventually burn with the fuel, but no instantaneous explosions caused by pressure build-up as is the case with metal fuel cans.
Now, these are definitely not the cheapest out there, but they are the best. 20 gallons of gas makes a pretty big mess when handled wrong. So, when it comes to hauling this stuff around with me...I definitely want the best!
