JEEP LIFE AND THE GREAT OUTDOORS
"Not all those who wander are lost"
Why are Jeeps so fun? I'm not talking getting out of town and tearing up some trails kind of fun either. I mean the kind of fun that you have when driving to the store, or a friends house. Even driving into work is fun for a Jeep owner!
I decided to spend some time asking Jeep folk what is it that makes driving a Jeep so fun? Number one answer...it's just different. What does that even mean, right??? Well, after some thinking I have come up with this theory.
Driving a Jeep represents a feeling, a way of looking at life. It's something the same and something very different for everyone that drives one.
Stay with me here...The same is this...Driving a Jeep represents the inner adventurer in all of us. It represents freedom. Driving a Jeep stimulates us to dream, to find our place in nature, and in some way keep alive the idea that "being an adult" doesn't have to mean boring, routine, and full of mediocrity.
So, how does it differ from driver to driver then? Well...the difference is in the definition. What it means to be free and adventurous may differ from person to person. We all have our own vision of what our life should be, so although adventure is the goal, what that adventure is...depends on the individual. Rock crawling a trail with friends, or trekking off the grid on a solo expedition of discovery, owning a Jeep represents it.
Jeep ownership is an expression of who we are. It let's the world know it will not change us, and that shared feeling amongst Jeep owners simply makes us happy! I can't imagine not being a part of the Jeep family, and I would bet...neither can you.
